Helping Hands Kenya is excited to share the extraordinary accomplishments associated with its humanitarian mission, celebrating a landmark year of giving Hope to those in need – all made possible by the immense generosity of our community of donors and volunteers. Thanks to your unwavering support, Helping Hands successfully accomplished the following during 2025:
Shelter and Dignity
Constructed 22 new homes for vulnerable families. Each home, as shown above, includes an outdoor kitchen, combo pit latrine/bathing room and fully furnished with beds, mattresses, blankets, coffee table, storage shelf and a home kit.
Nourishing Young Minds
Providing daily lunches (consisting primarily of nutrient-rich beans, rice, and maize) to approximately 10,500 needy students—many of whom are orphans—across 26 local Primary Schools. Helping Hands field research continues to demonstrate a direct relationship between daily nutrition and significantly improved academic performance.
Investing in The Future
Funded tuition support for approximately 30 vulnerable primary school students, while fully paying the tuition fees for 45 secondary, college, university, and technical school students to pave a path toward long-term self-sufficiency.
Empowering Young Women
Distributed 2,130 reusable sanitary pads to 355 sixth-grade girls in 12 Primary Schools through the P.A. for Girls Pad Project (Perfect Attendance for Girls), ensuring that simple biological needs never stand in the way of a young girl’s education.
Livelihoods & Community Care
Supported 40 families with the personalized Family-to-Family Program, providing various livestock (goats, sheep and cows), as well as vegetable seeds which over time can get households back on their feet.
Educational Materials & Supplies
Brought creative joy to 6-to-8-year-old children with craft projects in 15 Primary Schools, while providing essential whiteboards and school supplies – as well as clothing to most vulnerable children.

Helping Hands prides itself on frugal financial stewardship, maintaining an administrative overhead of less than 3%, insuring that every dollar directly touches the hearts and lives of those who need it most.
