Donate Supplies

Helping Hands is always collecting supplies for our next container.  If you do not have any of these items to donate, you probably know a family member, friend, or acquaintance who does.

School Supplies

  • Copy paper, wide-lined paper, construction paper, color books
  • Rulers, children’s scissors, glue, chalk, chalk erasers, staplers, staples, thumb tacks
  • Pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, pens, wall mounted pencil sharpeners
  • White boards, white board markers, cork bulletin boards
  • Masking tape, scotch tape

Teaching Supplies

  • Rhythm instruments
  • Pre-school learning games, puzzles
  • Chess Set – roll-up vinyl mats with plastic pieces
  • Dart Board Set – safety form, magnetic or standard bristle

Sports & Recreation

  • Volleyball/badminton sets, bean bag toss, etc.
  • Volleyball, soccer and tennis balls

Clothing & Personal Care

  • Lightweight clothing (especially men’s, children’s)
  • Shoes (especially men’s, boy’s, girl’s)
  • Towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste

Baby & Children’s Items

  • Baby blankets, diapers, baby clothing

Kitchen Supplies

  • Large pots, cast iron fry pans, plastic plates/glasses, metal utensils, silverware
  • All types and sizes of plastic containers with lids

Furniture & Office

  • Twin & full beds, sheets
  • File cabinets, office equipment, desks, chairs

Craft & Hobby Supplies

  • Craft supplies, yarn, sewing fabric, thread, buttons, scissors, sewing machines
  • Paint brushes (1″, 2″, 3″), rollers, paint trays

Medical Supplies & Mobility Aids

  • Crutches, wheelchairs, walkers
  • Non-dated medical supplies: gauze, aspirin, Tylenol, band aids, cotton balls, medical tape, first aid creams
